From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Very attentive, friendly, and professional. Our server made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food was just as good, each dish was presented well and clearly made with care. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal with friendly service!

I love it here! Tons of vegan options (including vegan cheesecakes), good drinks and mocktails, and great service. The staff who stayed open late to support my dance students’ party were so kind and helpful. The Laughing Monk is next to a big field, so if you have bad allergies (like me) be sure to take allergy medicine and maybe pack eye drops!

Didn’t expect an enormous restaurant when i went search g for this brewery. It can be difficult to find the entrance as the parking area is behind the building. I’ve been to this shopping center a half a dozen times and never knew this gastropub existed, and I love beer! Got a great patio and out door area. Inside there is plenty of seating. There are fire pits and heaters available outside, as well as shade if needed. The menu is quite diverse. If you can’t find something to love, stay at home, grumpy. Lots of great beer selections as well. Only gripe? We got our food before our drinks.

Food was very yummy, beer was good, service was good (but not terribly fast). I had a burger and a spiced squash salad with an amber ale. My friend had the fish & chips and a wheat beer. We both thought it was great. On this day they seemed understaffed... so maybe beware if you're in a hurry.

First time visiting laughing monk brewery. We came here since it was ranked as #1 place to dine in Scott’s valley on yelp. The place was packed and the parking was full. There was a private party in the patio by the parking lot Inside there were a few open tables so we were seated promptly. We ordered a flight of beer which all tasted fresh and nice. For dinner I got the chicken pesto sandwich and my wife got the mahi mahi tacos and my son ordered the brewsky burger. They were all put tgeyher nicely and tasted good but nothing really special. Service was fairly fast. It’s an all around solid 4.

I’ve been here twice at this point, and both visits that I’ve had I’ve left satisfied. The atmosphere is a fun twist of modern with a splash of retro here and there. The first time I was here I had the Chicken Sandwich with Truffle Fries (which was excellent), and this last time I went I had one of their burgers with regular fries and a Captain Morgan old fashioned which all were also excellent. We were waited properly with friendly staff. I’m definitely coming here again and would surely recommend anyone in the area to stop by. I rated the food a 4/5 only because the fries could have used a bit more crispiness and saltiness in my opinion, but overall were enjoyable.
